Converse and learn with those around you

Ya know? Having a long conversation with a friend can really bring the two of you together. I just went out to eat with a friend of mine which is a rare occasion since it is a large group of friends that we associate ourselves with. Anyways, We were at Taco Cabana, despite it being 2AM. After eating and talking for about an hour we came back and talked in the parking lot for another hour.

A word of advice: Learn as much as you can from those around you. You would be surprised what knowledge they can offer you.

  2. Just the other day I learned about how delicious bread is if you fry it with butter in a pan, instead of just using a toaster. It was from another blog, to be sure, but it was learning from those around me, and kind of pushes your point. I don't have a link to that blog, but here's one to mine.

    1. Exactly! It's those little things that you learn that are the best.

  3. Some good advice, these days with the world being as fast paced as it is, a lot of people have lost the value of a good conversation

  4. Nothing better than a good conversation that lasts hours.
As the saying goes, "Great people talk about ideas, average people talk about ideas, small people talk about people."

    1. I really like that quote. It's so true. Gossip is probably the lowest form of conversation.

  5. So true. An alternative perspective is often what people need in order to make right decisions.

    1. Often you will find that a third person view on your own ideas will help define those ideas into something great. Just have to make sure that person is trustworthy. Otherwise you might end up with a disastrous idea. Haha
