My interesting contradiction
I've come across something that is a little contradicting. As a non religious person, I find myself interested in reading about various religions. Recently I've been reading into Buddhism and Confucianism. Someone said I should look into the Poetic Eddas which is the book of Norse Gods. I don't know exactly what interests me so much about religion. I guess I like to have more knowledge on subjects that aren't very common (to some people). Learning about different beliefs and the reasons behind them is just like talking to people and learning their beliefs and their reasons. It's all very fascinating.

You're open minded sir, I respect that.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I think open mindedness is a great quality to have.
DeleteThere are always interesting things you find in religion, its good to learn.
ReplyDeleteI think that the religions having to do with inner peace and finding yourself interest me the most.
DeleteYeah but people pull them to other directions
DeleteThat is true. Which is why I am looking at them from a non religious point of view. I want to know their moral teachings. Not necessarily their misinterpreted nonsense that some people preach.

ReplyDeleteThanks.
ReplyDeleteis Confucianism seriously a religion?
ReplyDeleteBack then there was no term for "religion." So I guess it is not. But is has been considered a Science of God. So they are similar.
