Recurring Music Trends of Mine

I've noticed a cycle that I go through that pertains to my musical interests. As a child I grew up on Alternative and hard rock. My father was really into that genre, so naturally I liked it as well. From there I went into harder rock, maybe even heavy metal. I found Dubstep interesting whenever it started becoming popular. At first I loved the heavy bass and ridiculous drops. After a while though I started listening to more relaxing music. It was technically still considered Dupstep, but it had a much softer, slower sound to it. I still listen to that genre, but added in House and Trance. I'm really feelin' this group called Blank and Jones. Especially their album Relax edition 4. But as of late, I have gone back to my hard rock roots and I'm really enjoying it.

I guess what you should take from this is that over the course of your life you will change quite a bit. But it's not such a bad idea to go back and revisit those good things that have happened in your past.

Just a thought.

Until next time! Take it easy.

    1. It's pretty interesting how we change. For instance, when we are little we may not like the taste of some foods, but once we are older then we start to like them.

    1. That sounds awesome. I never really considered Jazz a genre that I listened to a lot, but I do enjoy it.

  11. Yeees. I would say nostalgia is definitely one of my weaknesses; anyone who wants to reel me in would just remind me of the good memories from the past. lol
